Skype - the popular free telephony software distributor - has now released versions of its software for the Mac and Linux platforms.
Although a Mac version has been trialled since August 2004, this is the first time a release has been made for Linux distros.
Skype claims over 23 million current users, with as many as 130,000 new sign-ups each day.
